What Is Whimsy, Really? Whimsy is playful, fanciful, and full of unexpected charm. It’s about turning the ordinary into magical moments and finding joy in the everyday. Think of it as the opposite of hustle culture; whimsy invites us to be curious, lighthearted, and even a little bit silly. There are plenty of misconceptions about whimsy. Some people think it’s all gothic or witchy, all pink glitter and rainbows, or something reserved for those who are “extra.” It can be all of those things, but it doesn’t have to be. It’s what you make it.

Today, I harvested some dandelions to make a kind of prebiotic rich coffee substitute! Dandelions are such amazing plants & all parts are edible & nutritious! Now, dandelion roots are rich in inulin, a prebiotic fiber, & can make you gassy if you’re not used to that kind of fiber so start small! Always be 100% on plant ID. NEVER harvest dandelions from a polluted area, roadsides or somewhere that’s been sprayed with pesticides because dandelions can absorb heavy metals & contaminates!
