GatherBump Terms of Service
Effective: October 9, 2026
GatherBump is operated by GatherBump LLC, an Indiana limited liability company. In these Terms, “GatherBump,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to GatherBump LLC, and “you” means the person using GatherBump. These Terms apply to GatherBump.com, any GatherBump mobile apps, and related services.
By creating an account or using GatherBump, you agree to these Terms, our Community Guidelines, and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use GatherBump.
1. You must be 18 or older
GatherBump is only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to create an account or use member features. You may not use GatherBump if you have been banned from it or if the law prohibits you from using it. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.
2. Your account
Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date. Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away at contact@gatherbump.com if you think someone else has accessed it. Do not sell, transfer, or share your account, and do not create an account to get around a suspension or ban.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the posts, comments, photos, videos, messages, Market listings, and other content you share on GatherBump. You are responsible for it, and you confirm that you have the rights needed to share it.
To run GatherBump, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display, distribute, and adapt your content. “Adapt” covers things like resizing images, processing and encoding videos, creating previews and share images, and applying the edits you choose. We use this license to operate, improve, and promote GatherBump, and we follow the visibility settings you choose. The license ends when your content is deleted, except for copies in backups, content others have already shared or saved, and records we keep as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Hubs and Groups
Hub and Group owners and managers are responsible for the spaces they run, including posts, membership decisions, and any joining questions. Owners and managers must follow these Terms and the Community Guidelines and may not set rules that conflict with them. Messages sent to a Hub are available to that Hub’s operators.
5. Community Guidelines, reporting, and moderation
GatherBump has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Our Community Guidelines describe what is and is not allowed, and they are part of these Terms.
You can report posts, and you can block other members. We aim to review reports within 24 hours. We use automated checks and human review. We may remove content, hold it for review, limit features, suspend accounts, or permanently remove accounts that break these Terms or the Community Guidelines, or when the law requires it. Where available, you can ask for a review of a moderation decision, or contact us at contact@gatherbump.com.
6. Paid features
Some features cost money, such as Priority posts and advertising campaigns. The price and what you get are shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment providers under their terms: currently Square for Priority posts and advertising. Purchases made inside a GatherBump mobile app may instead be processed by Apple or Google under their terms, including their refund policies. You must be allowed to use the payment method you choose.
Payments are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise or we say otherwise when you buy. If a paid feature is not delivered because of a problem on our side, contact us and we will make it right, which may include a refund. Content removed for breaking these Terms or the Community Guidelines does not qualify for a refund. Advertising campaigns are also subject to the quote you accept.
7. Direct Tips
Approved Hubs may show a Cash App link for Direct Tips. Tips go straight from you to the Hub through Cash App. GatherBump does not process tips, does not receive any part of them, and cannot refund or confirm them. Tips are voluntary gifts: a Hub may not promise content, services, or other benefits in exchange for a tip. Hubs that receive tips are responsible for following Cash App’s terms and for any taxes on what they receive.
8. Market
Members can list items for sale in Market. Sales happen directly between the buyer and the seller: you agree on the price, payment, and pickup or shipping yourselves. GatherBump is not a party to any sale, does not process or hold payments, and does not inspect, guarantee, or take responsibility for items, listings, buyers, or sellers. Sellers are responsible for describing items honestly and for following the law, including any tax rules that apply to them. Listings must follow the Community Guidelines, including the list of items that can’t be sold. We may remove any listing, and listings that are not confirmed as still available may be hidden.
When you contact a seller about a listing, you and the seller can message each other even if either of you only accepts messages from friends. Blocking stops this.
9. Music for videos
GatherBump may offer a library of music you can add to your videos. That music is provided only for use in videos you post on GatherBump. Do not download, extract, or reuse it elsewhere. We may remove music from the library, and from videos that use it, if our rights to it change.
10. Things you may not do
- Break the law, or help anyone else break it, on or through GatherBump.
- Access or use another person’s account without permission, or impersonate anyone.
- Collect other people’s information or content using bots, scrapers, or other automated tools.
- Send spam, run scams, or artificially boost views, follows, or other engagement.
- Interfere with, overload, or try to get around GatherBump’s security, moderation, or limits.
- Upload viruses or other harmful code.
- Use GatherBump to build a competing service, or copy or reverse engineer it, except as the law allows.
11. Advertising
GatherBump shows advertising, which may include ads we sell directly and, where enabled, ads from partners such as Google. Advertisers are responsible for their ads and for what they offer. We are not responsible for products or services advertised by others.
12. Other services and links
GatherBump links to and works with services we do not control, such as Cash App, Square, Bunny, Facebook, and websites members share. Their own terms and privacy policies apply, and we are not responsible for them.
13. GatherBump’s rights
The GatherBump name, logos, designs, and software belong to us or our licensors. These Terms do not give you any right to use them, except to use GatherBump as intended. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without any obligation to you.
14. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on GatherBump infringes your copyright, email contact@gatherbump.com with: your name and contact details; a description of the work; the link to the content; a statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized; a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own or are authorized to act for the copyright owner; and your physical or electronic signature. We remove infringing content when appropriate and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
15. Ending your use
You can stop using GatherBump at any time, and you can delete your account in Settings (see Data Deletion). We may suspend or close your account, or stop offering GatherBump or any feature, if you break these Terms, if we must for legal reasons, or to protect people or the service. Sections that by their nature should continue after your account ends, such as the sections on content licenses for already-shared content, disclaimers, limits of liability, and disputes, will continue.
16. Disclaimers
GatherBump is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that GatherBump will always be available, secure, or error-free. Content posted by members reflects their views, not ours, and we do not verify it.
17. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, GatherBump will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of GatherBump. Our total liability for any claim relating to GatherBump is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
18. Your responsibility to us
To the extent the law allows, you agree to defend and compensate GatherBump for claims, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from your content, your use of GatherBump, or your breaking these Terms or the law.
19. Disputes and governing law
Before starting any legal claim, please contact us at contact@gatherbump.com and give us 30 days to try to resolve it informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana and applicable United States law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any legal action must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and you and we consent to those courts’ jurisdiction. Either of us may bring an eligible claim in small claims court instead.
20. Mobile apps
If you download a GatherBump app from Apple’s App Store or Google Play, these Terms are between you and GatherBump, not Apple or Google. GatherBump, not Apple or Google, is responsible for the app, its content, support, and any claims about it. Your use of the app must also follow the app store’s terms. If you use the app on an Apple device, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
21. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as GatherBump changes or as the law requires. We will post the updated Terms with a new effective date. For important changes, we will give notice, and we may ask you to accept the updated Terms before you continue using member features. If you keep using GatherBump after the changes take effect, you accept them.
22. General
These Terms, the Community Guidelines, and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and GatherBump about the service. If any part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a part of these Terms right away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours, including as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of GatherBump.
