Welcome to GatherBump

My daughter taught me how to do my eyelashes 💅🏼 It's actually way easier than what I expected.

🇺🇸📚 **THE BOOKS ARE HERE! 📚🇺🇸** Today is a special day for me. My books have arrived, and I’m proud to finally hold *Walking with Fallen Heroes — One Step At A Time* in my hands! What started as a mission to honor our Fallen Heroes has grown into thousands of miles walked, countless conversations, and so many opportunities to keep the memories of these brave men and women alive. This book shares a part of that journey, the stories behind it, and the reason I continue to walk. ❤️ **HERE’S SOME EXCITING NEWS!** If you see me out walking with my cart around Crossville, Tennessee, please stop and say hello! I always enjoy meeting people, sharing stories, and talking about the heroes we honor. 📚 **Want a copy of my book?** You can purchase one directly from me when you see me out walking for **$20, and I’ll be happy to sign it for you right then!** If you prefer to order a copy from my website, you can do that too! Books ordered through my website are $20, plus $5 shipping. 🌐 **www.iwalk4them.com** Every step I take is about remembering those who served, those who sacrificed, and those who never made it home. Their stories deserve to be told, their names deserve to be remembered, and their sacrifices must never be forgotten. Thank you to everyone who has supported iwalk4them and this mission over the years. Your encouragement means more to me than you know. ❤️ **WE WALK FOR THOSE WHO CAN NO LONGER WALK BESIDE US.** 🇺🇸 *Honoring Fallen Heroes — One Step At A Time.* 🇺🇸 #iwalk4them #WalkingWithFallenHeroes #FallenHeroes #Veterans #NeverForgotten

Well, she ain’t the prettiest thing on the road… but neither am I, and somehow my wife still keeps me around! 😂 Everybody meet THE TOASTED GOAT EXPRESS 3000! 🐐🍞 She’s got more wrinkles than a grandma’s forehead, more character than a Walmart parking lot at midnight, and probably a few spiders paying rent. 🤣 Is she ugly? Absolutely. Does she have potential? Debatable. Are we gonna make some memories in this rolling loaf of bread? YOU BET YOUR ASS! 😂 She may not be a million-dollar camper, but she’s ours! Now taking bets on whether we fix her up or she fixes us up financially first! 💀😂

This already seems to be way better then Facebook thanks Jake

Similarly to hubs, normal accounts are also discoverable in your friends tab. You can also search for people by their name and email. Your friends aren’t on GatherBump? Invite them! ✌️

Videos are back! 🎥 Video posts are working again. Thanks for hanging in there! I also fixed a problem with newer iPhones. Videos recorded with Spatial Audio (the default on newer iPhones) were failing with "Couldn't read this video file." They post normally now. If one of your videos failed in the last few days, please post it again. — Jake

Friendly reminder that GatherBump has a market where you can buy and sell things, or post items for free. Try it out! ✌️

As part of the early development, I would like to ask my founding members if there is anything you'd like to see added or changed within GatherBump? I will take your requests into consideration, since the entire build was all my idea on my own, and I'm curious to hear your thoughts. One thing I would like to add is that I already have near-future plans that will allow musicians and podcast hubs the ability to add an audio playlist.

Quick heads-up: video posts are paused for now. 🎥 One of the companies that helps GatherBump process videos is having a problem on their end. Your videos aren't lost. If you post one, it will show as "processing" and finish on its own once they're back up. Everything else works normally: posts, photos, comments, messages, Hubs and Market. Thanks for your patience! I'll post again when videos are back. — Jake

Suspect attacked owner for trying to stop a fight he was choosing with the neighbors German shepherd... side note: German shepherd is a very sweet dog but my cat chose violence for no reason 🤪 he’s not sorry… 🙃

GatherBump is now available on iPhone as early access. Working on max

I’ve been out gathering mullein leaves today! Mullein (Verbascum thapsus) has a long traditional history of supporting the respiratory system. It’s also been known to help with soothing irritated airways & sore throats, easing chest congestion, & just losening stuck stubborn mucous associated with a dry cough. Lab & animal studies have shown antibacterial activity, antioxidant activity, anti inflammatory potential, bio active compound’s & potential anti viral activity! Today, I pulled off all the outer leaves off my 2 plants and am only leaving the tight center basil rosette. I’m doing this because for the first time, I’m harvesting the roots too! When a hard freeze hits, the plant will channel its energy back into the roots, making them at their max medicinal potency. However, taking the roots does ruin any possibility of a second year plant. Mullein root is traditionally known to aid in back pain, joint pain, nerve pain. Support for the bladder & urinary tract. Spinal support & structural support. I plan to make a tincture with them. I’ll use them fresh & with at least 100 proof vodka at a 1:2 ratio of root to vodka. And it’ll need to macerate at least 6 weeks before straining & bottling. Have you ever used mullein before?
