As GatherBump grows, you will likely see posts in the feed that you don't care for. To remedy this, you can now hide posts from the feed by clicking the three dots at the top right of that post. You will then stop seeing posts from that member or their hub on the feed. The only exception is if a member or hub that you have hidden has paid for priority. You will still see that post in your feed. This does not block them. You can still visit their profile or hub. You can still message them. It just allows you to be more in control of what you see on your feed, since GatherBump does not use algorithms ✌️

This is a great homemade buttermilk biscuit recipe I like to use. To make tall, fluffy, and flaky homemade biscuits from scratch, use cold butter, handle the dough gently, and fold the dough to create layers. Ingredients • 2 cups all-purpose flour • 1 tablespoon baking powder (fresh and aluminum-free) • ½ teaspoon baking soda • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar • 1 teaspoon fine sea salt • 6 tablespoons (85 g) cold unsalted butter, cubed • ¾ cup plus 2 tablespoons cold buttermilk or whole milk • 2 tablespoons melted butter (for brushing after baking) Step-by-Step Instructions 1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or set aside a cast-iron skillet. 2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl (or food processor), whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and salt. 3. Cut in the Butter: Add the very cold cubed butter. Use a pastry cutter, a box grater, or your fingertips to work the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs with a few pea-sized pieces remaining. Keeping the butter cold is the secret to fluffy pockets of steam. 4. Add the Liquid: Pour in the cold buttermilk or milk. Stir gently with a fork or spatula just until a shaggy, cohesive dough forms. Do not overmix. 5. Fold for Layers: Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Gently pat it into a rough rectangle (about ¾-inch thick), then fold it into thirds like a letter. Rotate the dough 90 degrees and repeat this patting and folding process 2 to 3 times to build flaky layers. 6. Cut the Biscuits: Pat the dough down to about ½- to ¾-inch thick. Press a round biscuit cutter straight down into the dough without twisting. (Twisting seals the edges and stops the biscuits from rising.) 7. Bake Close Together: Place the biscuits touching or nearly touching on your baking sheet or skillet (this helps them support each other to rise taller). 8. Bake: Bake for 10 to 15 minutes until the tops are deeply golden brown. Immediately brush the tops with melted butter when they come out of the oven.

So apparently my 2 adult aged kids, who don't pay rent or have jobs think it's inconsiderate that I listen to music in my own room in the house I pay for after they go to sleep, even if it is quite and my door is closed. Wtf? Should I just cut the household internet or what? I know I didn't raise them to be mooches so what should I do? Don't be gen x mean.
