🇺🇸 **OCTOBER 2026 — MONTHLY STATS** 🇺🇸 **13 Fallen Heroes in 13 Walks** 🚶 78.13 Miles 👣 247,600 Steps 📣 2,341 Honks **I THINK WE STILL HAVE IT IN US!** It's been 11 months since we last walked this many miles in a single month. It sure feels good to get back out there, walking alongside these Heroes and keeping their memories alive. October has brought a few changes and some exciting new beginnings. We now push a cart. We now have our first book published. And we now have a plan in the works for a long-distance walk that means the world to me. We also have a couple of surprises coming up soon, but I'm not ready to give those away just yet! We've even been contacted by a couple of media outlets. Exciting times ahead! It's been an amazing month. We've had the opportunity to stop and visit with so many wonderful people while out walking. And that's something I never want to lose sight of. It's not just about the miles we walk. It's about the people we meet along the way. It's about saying these Heroes' names. It's about sharing their stories. It's about reminding people that their sacrifices mattered. It's about making sure they are never forgotten. **Every conversation keeps a memory alive. Every honk is a reminder that someone cares. Every step is another opportunity to honor a Hero.** Thank you to everyone who stopped to visit, honked their horns, waved, shared our posts, bought a book, or simply took a moment to learn about one of our Heroes. I can't say it's been a bad year, but I can say I've learned a lot. I've learned that I'm stronger than I sometimes realize. I've learned that even when things get difficult, we can keep moving forward. I can say one thing with certainty... **WE GOT THIS!** This year has tested me in more ways than one, but God has been right there with me. My true friends and family have been right there beside me, too. The year isn't over, and neither is this mission. Some gave their lives serving our country. Others served honorably and came home, only to fight battles most people will never see. I walk to honor them all. I walk to bring awareness to Veteran Suicide. I walk to remind people that our Veterans are not forgotten, that their stories still matter, and that their sacrifices will never be taken for granted. Every mile has a purpose. Every step has meaning. Every Hero deserves to be remembered.
